We bought our tickets in the Uk prior to visiting WDW, they were 14 day flexi-tickets with acees to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and MGM plus 3 visits to any of the water theme parks.
We visited the Magic Kingdom on our 2nd day and Blizzard Beach on the 4th day.
On the 7th day we visited Epcot in the morning til around 3 o'clock then returned to the hotel for a rest then went to the Magic Kingdom in the evening for the night parade and fireworks.
On the 8th day we visited the Animal Kingdom but when we arrived at the gate we realised that we didn't have our tickets.
We searched everywhere but could not find them so we went to the Magic Kingdom and explained our situation to the ticket office. We were advised to purchase new tickets and go to the customer relations office at city hall in the Magic Kingdom and explain what had happed.
Fortunately we had kept our reciept for the tickets bought in the UK and the girl in City Hall was most helpfull. We were refunded our costs for the tickets that we bought that day and we were re-issued with new flexi-tickets for the rest of our trip.
The moral of the story is firstly look after your tickets but more importantly try not to panic (not easy I can tell you) and go to customer relations in WDW.
