WDWFOREVER
13 Apr 05, 09:05 PM
This is what we have come up with (we being me, DH and DS11!) so far.
We are staying at the Orlando World Centre Marriott from 28th June for 18 nights.
Mon 27th June: Overnight at Gatwick Hilton
Tuesday 28th June: Arrive 3.25pm. By the time we get to the hotel we are usually too tired to do anything except eat, unpack and sleep!
Wednesday 29th June: Typhoon Lagoon - Uno's at Crossroads for dinner - early night
Thursday 30th June: Magic Kingdom - plan to be there for rope drop - never done that before!
Friday 1st July: Busch Gardens for the day and then straight to St Petersburg (well Tierra Verde) to visit friends who now live on a boat having sold their bricks and mortar house to their daughter and her family! Stay overnight with them (DS REALLY excited about this!).
Saturday 2nd July: Stay with friends for the day and probably overnight again.
Sunday 3rd July: Travel back to LBV. Olive Garden for dinner.
Monday 4th July: Magic Kingdom for 4th July celebrations - so looking forward to this. Know the chances of doing any rides are small but just going for the atmosphere. Plan to be there early to ensure we get in.
Tuesday 5th July: Our 19th Wedding Anniversary. Booked Segway Around the World Tour at Epcot for DH as a birthday treat from our son. Its DH's 50th birthday the day after we come home and I bought him his longed-for special birthday present at Mayor's in Millennia Mall two years ago! Will be getting him a gift but just not sure what yet! His Segway tour is 9.30am and then we plan to spend the day at Epcot, probably lunching at Rose & Crown.
Wednesday 6th July: Disney Studios. Will be giving Sci-Fi Diner a go today - we went there about 8 years ago but DS never been. Think he will love it.
Thursday 7th July: Blizzard Beach - shopping in evening.
Friday 8th July: Islands of Adventure
Saturday 9th July: Will be calling later to make reservation at Chef Mickey's for breakfast - Boggy Creek Airboat Ride - back to resort for lazy "rest of the day"
Sunday 10th July: Animal Kingdom
Monday 11th July: Universal Studios
Tuesday12th July: Sea World - but not really sure that we will go. Got very upset about 5 years ago watching Polar Bears pacing on the white concrete. Don't know if I can face going again.
Wednesday 13th July: Epcot - stay for Illuminations
Thursday 14th July: Typhoon Lagoon/Disney Quest
Friday 15th July: Half day each at Universal/IOA
Saturday 16th July: Check-in bags at Downtown Disney then off to Magic Kingdom until early afternoon when we have to make our way to the airport:(
Sunday 17th July: Arrive home
Any thoughts would be most welcome.
Jackie
