Has anyone ever been here?!??!
I am off to Los Angeles in 4 weeks and wondering if it is worth going.
I have heard a couple of reports that is is a bad version of the one in Orlando.
There is a offer online for $43.00 so thought I would booked before i go but any opinions would be fab.. :D
thanks

I went in 1989 and thought it was great.
Im not sure that its a cheap version, It has The Mummy and Back to the Future, Jaws, Shrek etc.
Also it has a Proper back stage tour where they film loads of stuff.
You go through Hill Valley from Back to the Future. I thought it was great.

Went six years ago the day after visiting the one in Orlando - thought it was great - split level made it quite impressive!

We went in 98 and really enjoyed it, loved the view from the top of the moving stairs. A great day out :)

I went last year (June) I hadn't been to Orlando for 8 years at the time so I thought it was great :D but having been since it probably isn't quite as good, but definately worth a visit :D Jaws and King Kong are kind of intergrated into the backstage tour, which is great by the way, I think better than Disney MGM's and they also have Jurassic Park, Shrek etc. They were building The Mummy when I was there so it should be done by the time you go :D I also loved the view before/as you go down to the lower level :)
There was an offer on coke/sprite etc when we were there, that if you took the can to the ticket booth you get $15 off, so we got in for $34, there might be an offer like that on when you go, so it might be worth looking around when you are there, but $43 seems like a good deal in advance :D

Yes go being split level is fab. We did the VIP tour in 2003 quite expensive but you go on a smaller trolley for the back stage scenes with about 12 other people. We were allowed within reason to get off where ever we wanted, which you can't do on the big tour. It was a full but fab day as we also got on all the major rides with out waiting due to the VIP badge we had :D
Claire :wink
We used the offer on coke cans last year and just paid for transport from Anaheim.
We loved Jurassic Park and went on lots of times in order to get a decent photo!!!...lol.
As said above, the views are fantastic. We did everything except the Mummy as the queues were just too long.
Emily likes backdraft and its a great place to dry off if you get wet on Jurassic park.
