Can you buy this ticket at Universal / IOA? We have flextickets to get us in the parks but I think the front of the line access would be good. I havent time to buy one from home now.

Yes you can buy them inside the parks - there's a stall just as you go through the turnstiles. You get either a ticket or a booklet containing express passes, both of which let you get on every Express ride once only. They'll cost you somewhere between $20 and $30 per park per day I think.

They are great if you are trying to do everything in a short time frame or if it's busy (but they sell out early in the day if it's busy)

If I were you I'd judge the crowd levels and wait times and if everything is less than 20 mins I wouldn't bother - you'll be fine with the normal express passes.

per person then works out quite dear on top of the passes you have already paid for

last July we bought them and quite frankly we wouldnt have seen all the parks if we hadnt, but we just returned from IOA/Universal staying onsite with FOTL access and actually the crowds were so light we wouldnt have needed them this year! but Royal Pacific resort was lovely anyway so we were quite happy:jump: :jump:

Have they re-introduced it then?

They did have them in 2003, but there weren't any in 2004.
