Hi Twinkletoes, just wanted to say WELCOME TO THE DIBB!

:jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

I have not stayed there but have you tried doing a "search" (search button at the top of the screen).
When are you going and how many of you are there (if you don't mind me asking)? Hopefully we can give you loads of useful tips.

Thats what I've been doing twinkletoes. I started around 5 weeks before my holiday and now every spare moment is spent on this site.
At night time when my wife hears me running down the stairs she pre empts me by mouthing..."On Dibb...." and at work I've been told off twice by my boss for using the site, then a few days later I caught him on the site too...."thinking about going to Florida" :D :D :D
We've been to Orlando before but this time I will be buying a Pal Mickey, taking a trip to Celebration, going to Whispering Canyon Cafe, Hollywood and Vine and Boma and we have Priority Seating booked for each of those - all thanks to this site. Last time I was there I thought, stupidly, that you could only eat at the park resteraunts or in the hotel you were staying at. I even remember feeling really sheepish when me and my son went to All Stars Music instead of Movies for breakfast one morning. This time I'll be charging around full of confidence thanks to these guys.
Thanks everyone. :mike:
Oh and sorry Twinkletoes, I've never been to Indian Point, but I'm sure it will be absolutely fantastic.

We stayed at Indian Point, villa allocated by TCD.
It's in a great location, just off the 192 (loads of eataries etc), takes about 15 minutes to get to the Disney, 30 to get to Universal.
The development is residential mixed in with rentals. It's a clean and tidy place, without being too fussy, it looks lived in, but not run down.
It's not a gated community, so no security at the entrance, but patrols do run around the place, feels safe.
Walmart is minutes away on a backroad.
We'd stay there again and would recommend the development to anyone.

We stayed at Indian Point just off the 192 behind Walmart in Dec 2000 for 4 weeks. It is a great place to stay. Ideal base for all the shops and parks. ;)

We also stayed there in 2002,great community with Walmart and the 192 just up the road.
One piece of advise though, there are 2 entrances to Indian Pointe.one off Bass Rd up the side of Walmart and the main entrance off Poinciana Blvd.Use the Poinciana entrance as its before the roadworks that stretch past the Walmart.
There is also a road that runs from Poinciana Blvd straight into the Walmart carpark, again avoiding the roadworks if the traffic gets busy.
We have been using these roads over the past couple of weeks and also have had no trouble with the roadworks ,but I would imagine it could get busy in the summer months

We stayed there at Christmas 2002 and really enjoyed it.
It was clean and tidy with a small community pool and recreation centre, and it was well placed to be close, but not too close, to all the attractions.
It took us over a week to discover the short cut to wal*mart !!!
Last year we went past Indian Pointe and noticed Terra Verde was almost complete. The foundations were going in when we were there.

We stayed there in 2002 as well and it was one of the nicest villas we have had.
Spot on, stayed twice in 2 different villas, we are looking at next year now although we are struggling as people keep inviting themselves. We now need to sleep 11.:confused2
We stayed in Indian Point the first time we went. It was a lovely area.

I know how you feel - we've grown and grown in size and we had 11 last time too. Get a BIG villa!!
