Has anyone stayed at the Glenbrook resort off highway 27?

What is it like and is it easy to get to from MCO and Disney?

Yeah, we stayed here in 2003. To be honest, it wasnt my favourite villa complex, though it is very close to WDW via the Sherberth Rd shortcut. We could see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our driveway!

Easy to get to...proceed west on the 192 and when you hit the junction for US27, follow it north. Glenbrook is two traffic lights up, on the right. The entrance is right by the Walgreens.

The reason we werent keen was that the complex was mainly a buiding site back then. There was no landscaping either, we had a house in a road surrounded by JCBs! Plus they had a big ant problem on this site...our villa was over run and the management agency had to keep spraying.

The villa itself was smaller and not so "luxurious" as we had had in the past, though it was brand new (I think we were about the 3 or 4th guests to use it).

I wouldnt go back, as there are far, far superior complexes in my opinion.

Im sure things have improved since the building work is probably finished now, but the whole site seemed "perched" on the edge of the US27 and not "away from it all" like most of the complexes.

Any more questions, please ask.
