Hotel check in times

I am staying at a universal hotel for 2 nights and was wondering what time you can check in as i only want the room key to take advantage of the FLP as im not too bothered about what time you can enter the room " JUST GIVE ME THE KEY "

Anytime basically for a key to use FOTL. Rooms usually available after 4pm.

Is it correct that you can use the key the day you check in and the day you check out if so how can this be if you dont have a key when you check out

Its a magnetic swipe card so as soon as check out time comes I guess the magnetic strip is invalid. You can then use the card as proof of stay until the end of the day you check out. Same goes for checkin they give you a card but it doesn't work for rooms and when the room is available the magnetic strip is swipped and activated for your room. Well thats how I understand the magnetic swipe room card keys! :) Oh and the room key card shows your name and dates of stay.

I have just booked a one night stay at Hard Rock Hotel
to take advantage of FOTL - does anyone know if you can check in earlier than 4pm (trying to plan my schedule so this would help)

Just read your post properly - so does this mean we could turn up
at say 11am - collect our room card/key - spend some time
at the parks and check into the room later

Yes I think Mike turned up even earlier than that in March, around 9am I think??

does this give you two full days access to the park or only from the time you check in to check out of room -
sorry for so many questions but have changed my itinerary so want to maximise use of time we have there

FOTL access is for both, the days you book in and the day you leave, plus any inbetween :D
