clearwater beach fishing trips

Hi, husbands booked a fishing trip [ for both of us] at clearwater beach, any of you guys ever been? is it far from int.drive? have never been fishing, what can I expect ?

I think it is about 120 miles or so.
What kind of fishing are you going to do?

Most of the fishing trips are based in the Marina, just across from the Beach. Some of the boats look fantastic - real luxury speedboat types.

It takes about 90 minutes to drive to Clearwater from Orlando (if I remember correctly) - take the I4 towards Tampa and then just follow the signs.
