View Full Version : Cirque de Soleil
Having just read loads of threads about Cirque I have been convinced that this is a must for our next trip.
I notice that they offer different ticket categories.
Just wondering what tickets Dibbers have bought in the past and whether the category 2 tickets are "good enough" to get a good view (bearing in mind we'll have two kids with us).
Also, how far in advance is it best to book this show?

The theatre is made for this show so no seat is a bad seat. Category two on the upper level would be brilliant. Sitting nearer back than front is better as there is so much to see you can be too close IMHO.
Its a fantastic show - seen it 2 times now.
Book as soon as you know when you want to go, the theatre is quite small.
Thanks everyone.
Anna - Would you suggest "204" is better than "101" or "105" ?

We have seats in 103 row C which I booked about a month ago but from what I was told - any of the seats are good

We seen it twice - once in block 104 and once in block 204 - great view both times. I slightly prefer the higher tier, simply for when the characteres enter - you're looking down at them rather than turning aorund and looking behind you.
But you could be standing on one leg at the back for the durationand still come away thinking its the best show you ever saw...

How did you book it. I'd like to see this show when I go in July and was planning on booking when I got there - it seems this would be a big mistake !

We saw Cirque on Tuesday last May 10th. I booked tickets direct from cirque website, category 2. I chose section 206, row AA, seats 2 & 3 and they were wonderful. I agree that there probably isn't a bad seat in the house. Although we were to one side looking at the chart it did not seem like this at all to us, we both agree that it seemed as if we were at the centre looking at the show, the show itself does not have an obvious front as show, it really does not matter where you sit.
An absolutely wonderful show, certainly the highlight of our trip and well, well worth it. As we were in the front row of the 2nd tier we had a wonderful view of the pre-show and also of the performers entering as they come in along the walkway between the tiers.

We were in 204 Row DD Seats 1 and 2.
Tried to book via their website but gave up as it didn't give us much information about disabled access. In the end we rang them and booked over the phone. They were very helpful and the booking process was easy. The tickets arrived in the post about 10 days later.
And just to add my comments for the benefit of anyone thinking of going - do it! It really does defy description.
