OMG!!! New York here I come!!!!!

Had wonderful surprise last night, my DBand SIL(paulab) came over for a meal and gave me an envelope........inside were flight and hotel details for myself,my DH, DBand SIL to go to New York in December!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for my 40th Birthday. I am so over the moon and can't believe they have done this for me. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to go to Florida and N.Y. and this year I am doing BOTH. I am so lucky and am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Love them all so much.:heart: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

We had the pleasure of meeting paulab and her family in Florida last year (we shared on the Illuminations Cruise) and they are a lovely faminly.

We saw these last month - all three were really entertaining - the tickets for Wicked and Spamalot are like gold dust so you will need to book them well before you go using Ticketmaster / Telecharge.
Movin' Out was terrific, especially if you like Billy Joel, because it has been around for a while - you may get cheap tickets at TKTS stall in Times Square or use a discount code with Broadway.box.com. You aren't likely to get cheap tickets for Spamalot or Wicked.

These are only a suggestion, there are lots of different shows which may appeal more - but DO try and see a show - it will make your trip ! :wave:

My husband did something very similar for my 40th - Christmas shopping in New York for me and my best friend. It was fabby!
Me and my mum are going in July for a 4 dayer and she is really excited about going.

Wow!! Lovely surprise! You will love New York (and Florida of course)!! I agree you should go and see a show. I saw Grease when I was there. It is just such an amazing place you will definately want to go back!!
