Windsor Palms Building work!!

Hi,
Just a word of warning to anyone staying on Windsor Palms Resort, just off Formosa Gardens (where Splendid China used to be) in the next few weeks. We are currently staying in a villa on this resort an they are digging up and resurfacing the roadway into the resort. This means work starts at 6.45am EVERY morning except Sunday so a word of warning to anyone staying on this resort - if you don't want to be woken early or listen to the sound of diggers and tractors all day long while you sunbathe, ask your agent if you can be moved. It looks like work has been going on for at least a month and looks to be a third of the way through so work will probably be going on for at least another month if not 2 months!

We came back Saturday nite and stayed in coconut palms, at windsor palms, for the last 3 weeks. . We werent affected in any way, as we had a condo about 3 minutes walk from the communuial pool. Obviously we saw the roadworks at the front of the property, but didnt see or hear anything. We love windsor plams and we plan to go back in Dec. If anyone wants more info PM me. I think the private homes ie Villias may be more aftected.

The work's being going on for some time now. We stayed in a lovely villa there last August.

Unfortunately it backed onto the roadworks so we had a 6.30am alarm call Monday to Friday.

We too have just come back from a 2 week stay at Windsor Palms. If you have a villa on Fan Palm Way then you may be affected. Our villa was on this road, but to be fair it didn't really bother us that much as we tended to be in the pool at night or early morning as we were out most days.

They are basically building a new toll road, and the bit that is effecting this road on this estate is the construction of a new entrance road onto the estate. How busy this new road willbe only time will tell.
