August AP rates are out for Universal hotels - just changed our trip around!

We've just booked our last week of the 3 at the HRH for $179 for 2 nights and $149 for the last 5 nights, whereas we were paying $237 a night for the original week we wanted - huge saving!

Now all we have to do is pray that we can find availability in one of the DVC resorts for our first week!

I know there's no availability at BCV for one of the nights we want, so looks like we're going to get to try out another DVC resort - rather exciting :)

So 1 week who knows where, 1 week BCV and 1 week HRH and we're almost $600 better off!

I thought they had been out for a while Jo as we have ours for October.
Did they withhold the July and august AP rates?

I think so Bob, when I checked the other day they were still at £237 and our original dates have now gone back up to rack rate on an APH code! I saw some excited posts on the U/S resorts forum so played around with the dates.

Jakki, we think we'd like The Boardwalk for location (mainly for our anniversary meal) but would be happy to stay in any of them, I'll call on Monday and see what's available. It's rather exciting really leaving the decision to fate :)

I'm considering booking 1 night@ a Universal Hotel during our stay in October. We have AA and I'm upgrading my power pass to a AP with the renewal deal , what price I'm I looking at.

If you enter the dates on the Universal site you can then enter the Annual Pass code of APH to get the price.
