Has anybody eaten at the Concourse Steakhouse?
Thanks

Yes, several times over the years, and it is absolutley fantastic.

Set in an informal atmosphere, if you are lucky, you can get a great table, not too near the next party, viewing the monorail as it goes by. Food is really good with much variety including fish, chicken, vegetarian, and their steaks are one of the best I have tasted in the resort - tender, juicy and tasty.

Wine is not too badly priced either, considering how costly wine is generally in the US, and the service has always been excellent. It is a very popular restaurant, and often even with PS, we can wait between 15-30 minutes after our time - well worth the wait!

Thanks Ian, we're looking for a nice mid range restaurant and this looks like it will fit the bill.

It certainly will. If you fancy a nice treat, hop up a few floors to the top Californian Grill, for fantastic views of the fireworks (if times right), a really special meal with service and a right treat! it will cost a bit extra though, but for a once in a holiday treat, it would be nice to try!

We went Xmas Eve last year and it was a special meal, with 'Wishes' piped through the speakers in the restaurant, while we all watched the show, 20 floors up!

Enjoy.

I hate to tell you Ian but my last experience with the California Grill in December last year was a disaster - we'd been before then and it was perfect. Sounds like they learnt from the mistakes of our night (there were lots of complaint) and rectified them in time for your evening.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that - guess we were lucky. The 1st time we were there about 3 years ago it was an amazing experience, couldn't fault it - we even had our own 'dining co-ordinator'!.

Then the time after that it had gone down hill, so we would give it one last try over Xmas, and while not back to the original standard, had improved somewhat.

We stay at the Grand Floridian next door - try Narcoossees, on the pier overlooking MK, that is quite nice with good food and wine.

I do like the look of Narcoosees - looks like I may be 'forced' to give it a go ;)

Do so - if you can and there's not too much of a wait (last Xmas it was a 45 minute wait, we didn't bother!), ask for a table overlooking the water/Castle. These are the premium tables but you may be lucky. On other occassions we were, and it was well worth it.

Have a great time. I'm very envious!

We ate in the Concourse Steakhouse last October. We enjoyed our meal very much and would go back again.

As the monorail passes through the floor does bounce a bit, which is an odd sensation until you get used to it!
