Kennedy Space Centre / KSC

Evenin' All,

I've been round the KSC website, and am getting excited about the prospect of making a visit in August. Two questions for you:

1. Do you know what the opening hours are? There's obviously a lot to do in a day, and I would want to be there the minute it opens until quittin' time.

2. Are there any particular days of the week to avoid (i.e. does it get particularly busy on any particular day, or is it steady through the week)?

Stupid me - found the opening hours.

Still interested to know your opinions on busy periods, though.

Hi Bryan,

My wife and I have just returned from Orlando. We visited KSC for the second time, on a Tuesday. We had yet another very relaxed visit. Without too many people around. Including a very interesting tour of the rocket garden with only four of us in attendance. We also went on the first 'Up Close Tour' of the day at about 10:15am. This was absolutely brilliant and we could clearly see Space Shuttle ST114 on launch pad 39B.

Hi,

According to the crowd levels page on this site Monday to Thursday are the best days and try to avoid the weekend.

If you do use this chart, I believe the information for the Disney parks is out of date due to the change in the Magic Hours for on-site guests.

There are other sites that do these charts but this is the only one I've seen with Kennedy Space Centre.

We went on a monday or tuesday - cant remember now! The crowd levels were minimal.
