Water Wings @ Parks

DS is 8 and has started to swim pretty well for his age. He is a little uncomfable when going under water and resurfacing. Because of this he insists on wearing his wings on water slides. What policy does TL and BB have with water wings on slides? It would be interesting to note, not just for DS but for DS(2) who is 5.

the official line seems to be that they have to use the lifejackets provided at the water parks, but my dd has used water wings in the past and hasn't been asked to remove them.

my boys (6&8) also insisted on wearing their wings, and no one said anything.

We saw lots of kids with water wings and DS had his Floatie waistcoat too, nobody bothered about it.
