i was wondering if the tip i saw on another forum site was true, they said that if you park at pleaseure island and catch the bus to the parks that parking is free at pleasure island.
Does this work?
any restrictions in hours that the buses run?

we travel on june 30th so 4 weeks and counting today......

Parking is free at Downtown Disney & Pleasure Island, but the Disney buses from there only go to the Disney resorts or TTC and not directly to the parks.
Also I'm not sure that buses will run as early as you want as I believe most of the shops and restaurants there have later opening times than the parks.
If you really want to avoid paying for parking stay onsite or get an AP. :wink

hi top-timm,parking is only about $8 and is worth every penny after a long day in the parks knowing your car is so near.:D

We met a family who was doing this, they (well the Husband thought it was great) the wife and kids said it was very time consuming, especially at nite. To save $8 I couldnt be bothered, my feet are killing by the time we leave!!!

for the sake of $8 i wouldnt do it either as already said after a long day at the parks you just need to get into your car and drive back to where you are staying.
after all its no more than £5 (depending on the dollar) for a whole days parking.:confused2

I agree I don't think this is really worth it. You could consider buying an AP, only 1 person needs the AP to get free parking plus other discounts. This applies to all the parks, You could consider a childs AP ( if any in the party) look here http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/ticket.htm

Sea World also offer 50+ discounted pass

...and there's always the old "turn up with 32 quarters" trick if you're brave enough to try it (and take the flack from other posters!;))
