I have booked us a few nights on a caravan site at Bure Village,Breydon Waters for the beginning of the summer holidays.

Would any of our Norfolk/Suffolk members care to give any details of this area and of any places we could go for days out.

Suzie loves the Victorian stuff so a trip to Somerleyton Hall [sp] might be good. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

there are lots of great places to visit around the broads,i take it you are driving, norwich a lovlely city, beccles a nice old market town, reedham some nice riverside inns, yarmouth if you like the seaside also lowestoft, you can also hire day boats, at oulton broad and other various locations, recommended.a roman fort at burgh castle, which is near you.

Try www.norfolkbroads.com for some info but don't venture onto their speakers corner as there are some real strange people lurking about.
It was once a very nice place to talk about boats etc but the nasties, chip on their shoulder types took it over and they now get a dozen posts per week at best.
