I went straight from the airport to get my Universal pass later on in the day the season ticket office is empty and you can walk straight in and get your pass.

Hi, I am thinking of annual passes this year for sea world and universal.
Do they last for a yeaar from purchase or a year jan-dec..?
Would you recommend buying when we are there or before we go..and how much????
Thanks
Paul.:D
Paul they last a year from the day you activate them :), We bought ours online, universal you receive a voucher that you exchange for the pass when you get there, Seaworld you can print the voucher off yourself. Seaworld also do a fun card which lasts from activation date til 31st dec, we bought 1 silver pass (to get free parking and discounts) and 3 fun cards as our next trip will not be within 12 months. You can pay monthly for both of these too if you want to spread the cost

Thanks Ceri you have answered one question I forgot to ask.
My bro has just returned and had a seaworld pass but this expires dec..
Thanks again.
Split off from old thread to avoid confusion.

It is so nice to be able to "pop" into Universal and not worry about wasting a day of your pass BUT it also encourages you to go back to Florida again in the same year "to get the best value out of your pass" but that's no hardship ;)
Both Universal and SW do an annual plans for ap's. You pay monthy by CC and there is no additional charge. I was told at SW that the pass would renew automatically but is locked in at the origional price (ie no inflation) as we have some time left to run on last years SW passes I cannot testify that this is true. And I just recieved the Universal AP tkts (good for 1st day) yesterday. They are marked photo ID required but I hope when these are converted to real AP's this changes.
