Have booked independently and am staying at My Travel Explorers and I wondered how do you book the character breakfasts?

Judging by recommendations in other threads the one to go for is 8.00 at Walts, but can you pre-book it in the UK or do you have to do it on site?

Don't know if you can book it from the UK, but we have doen it twice now and never had a problem getting a reservation.

We were there half term week and we had no problem booking for 8am at Walts - just go to info centre at the entrance end of Main St. Incidently, we weren't too impressed with the "herding" to get in - you queued outside the main gates until you were let through to queue at the turnstiles. At gone 8 you were then let through the turnstiles. As we were being seated in Walts the first 2 characters appeared and we only just got the camera out in time - so be prepared! Unlike Cafe Mickeys. where you can see the progress of characters around the open plan restaurant (and you get seated in plenty of time), the smaller rooms on Walts means you tend to get taken by surprise! Both are locations are worth doing - although, on balance we decided we liked the full buffet choice at Mickey's. Would do either again.

Definately Cafe Mickeys for Character Dining either breakfast or Dinner by far the best you get lots of Characters and they come round to every table, so you get to see them all and the extra dancing!!!? is fab think they may only dance at night though. We went in June last year and just booked onn our way past to the parks in the morning for Dinner that night, and for brekkie the next day.

We probably had more fun at Cafe Mickeys. More fun and much more interaction. Walts was more formal, but we still enjoyed it for the early access to the park and having Main Street to ourselves.
