hi,

i am going to orlando and disney next saturday and wondered if anyone could give me some info on where to go for a surf. i am a beginner and want to take my 8 year old neice surfing.

you can hire the body boards out at cocoa beach, my boy loved it there when we went in 00 the waves are not too big bug big enough, sam :D

You can book book surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon early on Tuesday mornings with Carroll's Cocoa Beach Surf School.

Tuesday mornings from 6:30-9 a.m. before the park opens and all kit provided.

Small classes up to 14 guests, with two instructors. The session lasts 2 ½ hours, which consists of ½ hour pool-side instruction & two hours of water instruction.

You must be at least 8 years old to participate and sign a waiver to participate.

Cost is about $125 per person including tax.

thats quite a dear for surfing lesson!!!! i'm sure i'll end up paying it for her though :O)

i kinda live in newhaven...i work in guernsey but family all live in newhaven and i go back regularly.
