Mark i cant answer the first 2 questions but i have been to a few NFL games elsewhere in the US.
We always go early to enjoy the tailgate parties before kickoff and the other pre kick off activities..
The last game i was at was the Cowboys v Ravens at Baltimore..We must of been the only 3 Cowboy fans in that end of the Stand and the Banter between us and the Raven Fans was brilliant..Good laugh ...
The normal game usually lasts anywhere between 3 and 4 hrs then you have the parties etc ...
That last game we were at was a 4pm kickoff i think but we were at the Staduim at 11am and didnt leave unitl about 9pm
Its a great experience :thumb:

We've been to see games several times over the years - last year we went to see the Dolphins play in Miami (as my DH is a big Dolphins fan) and he did a great report about our trip HERE (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49811)
We've been to Miami several times, Tampa (both the old and the new stadium) amd then San Diego when we were in California. The really put on a great show - it's not just the game but the tailgate parties etc and it's a family atmosphere too so you don't have to worry at all about taking your boys - we took DD when she was 4 and she really enjoyed it (more the 'other' bits than the game!):D

Forgot to say Mark try and get sideline line seats near the 50yard line near the front to get a better view of the cheerleaders :wink

I've been several times - I'm a Bucs fan (since 1990).
It's a fabulous experience, it's worth getting to a game if you can. It's difficult to get a ticket for the Bucs now - I'm not sure about the Jags crowds, but I'm pretty sure that they don't sell out in fact the Bucs played there a couple of years ago and half the crowd was from Tampa. It could well depend on who they are playing when you are going - if they are playing one of the mso-called 'fashionable' teams then it's likely to be more difficult to get fixed up.
I'm sure the kids will love it.

You poor soul :D
Just a note Mark the Jags are the best team in Florida at the minute but the other 2 posters might disagree :D

The Jags ARE the best team in Florida at present - but they're still not very good!!!!! :p:

Mark,
We went to a bucs game last september (against Seattle) and it was a great experience:thumb:
There was 6 of us, including 2 kids aged 5 and 11 and they loved it- even though it was 104F in the sun:cool2:
We did the tailgate parties before the game, had our picture taken with the cheerleaders:grin: and the kids got some party packs and had their faces painted-it was a great day out.
We had no problem getting our tickets, i emailed the bucs ticket office in the middle of april when the fixtures came out and they sorted our tickets out.
I went to dallas last christmas to see the cowboys, and i`m off again to see the cowboys at San diego and in dallas this year and i have got all my tickets through emailing their tickets offices with no problems at all.
We stayed at the Quality inn international on I-drive last september and there was a group of lads staying there that went to a Jags game.
They went with Virgin holidays who ran a coach trip to the game, they picked you up from your hotel and supplied the tickets-i think the cost was about $100 each.
Hope this helps,
__________
Richard.

I've been to four NFL games in the past - three to see The LA Rams (as they then were) in Anaheim and once to see The Raiders play San Diego at the Colisseum in LA (where they then were).
An experience not to be missed - from the tailgate parties before the game, to the simply fabulous stadiums (which still make most UK stadiums look like dishevelled fleapits), to the razzamatazz of the game itself. It's an awesome spectacle. And I've taken people who have no interest in the game at all and they've come away thanking me for the opportunity.
I'd heartily recommend it - the game takes around three hours itself, but it's best to just set aside six for the whole thing!

I live in Charlotte, NC and so have been to many Carolina Panther games.
The year they made the Super Bowl was amazing, the atmosphere here was incredible.
