Try this link (http://www.orlando-maps.info/flashingmaps/lbv/san2lbv417_2/default.htm) for detailed directions. You will find the toll roads are the quietest/easiest routes. Depending when you land (most UK flights are afternoon arrivals) you are likely to hit major rush hour traffic on I4 which would not be a good start to your holiday.

At the end of the day, if you end up on a toll road, it won't cost you much money. Probably $1 or less.

Looking at that map, last year we drove more directly across to the I-4 and then down but I don't remember going on any toll roads.

The I 4 in the afternoon is a nightmare, and you do not state in
you have been to Orlando before. The Greenway Toll road costs
approx $ 5 is a much better route,as the road is never too busy
so you can get used to the car.Going via I 4 involves driving
along Lake Mary Blvd,to the I 4 and you can be sure in the down
town area of Orlando,it is usually stop start, with lane jumpers.

:p: You can get onto the Greeneway Toll Road at Celebration ,( Celebration is well marked near to Disney exits) which is just off the 192 , the Greeneway takes you all the way to Sanford Airport.

I'd go with the Toll Road, its a much more gentle way to get aquainted/re-aquainted with driving an automatic on the wrong side of the road!

Exit 65 from I4, onto Osceola Parkway.
Follow signs to "Disney Animal Kingdom Resort Area".

We stayed at ASMo last year and getting there from I4 is a P.O.P.

Cheers, Dave.
