Hi!
We are flying to Boston on American Airlines on Saturday 3 September 2005. We would like to book an executive lounge at Manchester before we fly but there does not appear to be lounge in Terminal 3 where we fly from.
Has anyone flown from Terminal 3 before and used an executive lounge?

Yes, there is. It is the BA servisair lounge I always use it when I go on a domestic flight with BA. Try www.holidayextras.co.uk

Oh and sometimes it depends what time your wanting to use it as they only have so much allocation
Isn't Terminal 3 just tagged onto the end of Terminal 1?
I thought there was only one lounge - in T2 - for general passengers. I think you have to be first/Business class passesngers to use the others. :(

Oh sorry you would need to either be flying with BA on first/business or going with BMI OR star alliance. If you are flying with any other airline you may not be able to book.

There is definitely a BA executive lounge in Terminal 3 because I have been in it, its fairly big too. Lovely marble floor in the toilets and all the products by some top Harrods supplier or summat!
DH had a BA gold card and so can use it but think its limited to BA flight tickets and their affiliates eg American Airlines.
Terminal 3 at Manchester airport is BA's terminal, they use no other.

Yes soozicue is absolutely correct!!
I am BA staff so I always travel on standby, which means I get an I/J class ticket. This is means either travelling first/business class...Techincally I shouldn't be in there but you won't tell anyone!!
As AA are one-world they permit people to use it if they have this type of ticket or are a gold/silver executive club card holder.
It is lovely, they have gorgeous toilets with molton Brown luxuries!!
Now here is a tip...When checking in ask the person at check in if there is an executive lounge as you are scared of flying and you would like to relax before the flight, really play it!!....they MAY offer you an upgrade or they may give you a pass to get in the lounge...Never know if you don't try!!!

OOOOO do you think that will work with AA? I have a frequent flyer thing with them although I've only got the starting bonus so far.

Loubylou!
You are a star!
Thank you. My daughter, Gem, is a very nervous flyer (since her TCD experience) so I think we will have to ask on her behalf.
I am assuming the lounge is airside?!
