Help me decide!

For our Salou weekend we could pay an extra £16 for the 3 of us to upgrade to full board, but is it worth it if we're half board anyway?

It's always worth it for that cost, but if you want to eat out you will not have lost much money.

Difficult one as hotel food can be good (but also one hears such horror stories)

I agree you haven't lost much if it turns out that way. Sometimes you find its just as cheap to upgrade to FB when you are there. Certainly that happened to us when we went to Madeira. The supplement was cheaper direct.

Have a look at the hotel website for meal costs and holiday truths for reviews of the food. Than make a decision from there.
