I would not visit for a rocket launch - we visited for a Mars rocket launch in April 2001. You do not see all that much, although it was quite exciting hearing the countdown, then the supersonic noise rumble coming over you a few minutes after the launch.

Because of the launch, the park was absolutely packed - it was a Saturday as well - and this made it very hard to get round all we wanted to see. Apparently on normal days the park is not that busy and you can get through everything no probs
