Ive decided NOT to do a parks itinerary this year, as it has been less than a year since our last visit, I feel we can be flexible and go with the flow this time! However, eating, of course, is far more important than the parks :D so here is my Dining plan for the 3 weeks. Any alterations, additions or comments very welcome!

For info, we are staying 2 weeks at AKL then a final week at Polynesian (Concierge :D). 4 of us travelling, me, DH and kids (5 and 3)

Weds 12th Oct - Arrive LGW for Twilight Check In. Frankie & Benny's for dinner.

Thur 13th - Maccy Ds brekkie (airside). Virgin "offerings" throughout the day on the flight. On arrival in Orlando - we USUALLY just grab a take away from Burger King or Pizza Hut, but this year Im tempted to try the food court at AKL. Will it be busy around 6/7pm???? Whats the food like here?

Fri 14th - Boma breakfast. Lunch - counter service at MK. Dinner - my choice would be Boma again, but twice on one day??? Any other suggestions?

Sat 15th - Dinner - Bahama Breeze

Sun 16th - Cinderellas Royal Table - lunch or dinner, cant decide. Any comments on what is better? Did lunch last year before the menu change and it was very nice.

Mon - 17th Whispering Canyon Cafe - dinner

Tues 18th - Dinner - Hollywood & Vine

Weds 19th - Lunch - Biergarten. Dinner - Chilis

Thurs 20th - Dinner - Le Cellier

Fri - 21st - Dinner Outback Steakhouse

Sat 22nd - Lunch - Yakitori House, Dinner Garden Grill depending on menu change...anyone eaten here with the new menu???

Sun 23rd - Dinner - Jiko

Mon - 24th - Lunch Race Rock. Dinner - food court AKL

Tues 25th - Lunch - Crystal Palace.

Weds 26th - Dinner - Boma

Thur 27th (Move to POLY) - dinner Ohana.

Fri 28th (hopefully Illuminations Cruise), dinner either Cape May or the Yachtsmans Steakhouse - cant decide!

Sat 29th - breakfast - Ohana. Dinner Kona Cafe

Sun 30th - Dinner 1900 Park Fare

Mon 31st - HALLOWEEN - MNSSHP!! No one was over impressed with Liberty Tree Tavern at Xmas so need dinner ideas! Kids want Crystal Palace...any other suggestions?

Tues 1st Nov - Lunch Olive Garden- dinner - snacks from Concierge lounge.

Weds 2nd Nov - Dinner Chef Mickeys (Last day)

Thurs 3rd Nov - lunch Bahama Breeze / MCO - Flight home.

Fri Nov 4th - Home cooked Roast Dinner :D

Im sure Ive forgotten a lot of favourites, so if you have any more suggestions where we could eat, then let me know!

It looks good to me! We have some of the same places planned for our trip in October, we might even be seated at the next table.

Not that I'm biased, but if you miss out on Red Lobster, then you are really missing out!!!
We'll be there at least twice, fantastic food (not just seafood) and excellent value for money IMO

Only thing I would say is I'm surprised your planning on eating a breakfast out when you are staying concierge. The food offerings are plenty with cereals, breads, preserves, pastries and fresh fruits.

Allie,

Watch out for the Halloween Party as if you want a sit down meal there are only 1 or 2 restaurants open and serving during the party. We tried to book for Tony's but it was closed during the party. I think the majority of counter service were open but not sit down so I'd call to check and confirm. We ended up at the Liberty Tree instead which I have to admit we probably would not have had as a first choice but it was excellent and the food was great. Plenty of characters for DD and no having to get up for the buffet! You willl definitely need a PS and as you're going on 31st will probably need to book on the 90 day mark.

Pam.

Thanks guys.

DH had a Red Lobster when he was in Ohio a few years back - he also loved it, and Im not too sure why we have never done one in Orlando. I think we will try and squeeze one in this year, thanks Soozie!

Dawn, thats a good point about breakfast. We WILL be making full use of the lounge for breakfast...maybe I will scrap the Ohana one after all. The kids were keen to see the characters there that was all...but its $60 we dont really need to spend, so maybe that one is for the chop! Hope to see you out and about in October!

Pam, thanks for the info on the party. I didnt realise that not all the restaurants were open. You can actually book LTT and Tony's NOW for the party nights...maybe I should, I can always cancel if needed.

Regards Cinderellas Royal Table for lunch or Dinner, see Day 5 of my Trip reports, we ate dinner there, pics as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the food was wonderful, especially the filet steak that melted in your mouth, no teeth required!

I second the comments by Mark re Pecos Bil's for fast food.
The Chuckwagon Chilli as a side order to dip your fries in, is exceptionally yummy!

You probably already know this, but Cindy's Royal Table lunch is now a character meal and they push this when you have missed the character breakfast. You need to be booking this at noon tomorrow or you will have your choice taken away :(
