Hi - just doing a bit of planning
Anyone done a charcter breakfast at the Crystal Palace MK.
Does it get very busy? what are the queues for the buffet like? Would you recommend it?
TIA

Have done this twice and have a PS for the 25th of this month! :jump:
We tend to go at about 9.30am (not early or late) and have never had any problems with queuing for the buffet, etc. Plenty of character interaction and a leisurely brekky. We love it. Would defo recommend it :D

Hi Julie we love the Chrystal Palace and have ate there quite a few times.
There has never been a long queue for food however there may be a slight wait if you want an omelette or eggs as they are cooked to order.
Enjoy it as it is an excellent place.

We ate there in February and it was great! We had an 8.00am PS and were seated almost right away. The buffett area was large with lots of different areas so there was very little queuing. Drinks were brought to the table by your server. Plenty of photo opportunities and character interaction with the children too. The food was very good and we can't wait to go back.

Thanks all
We did the Character dinner there last years and really enjoyed it, but the queue for the buffet was almost out of the door very soon after we'd arrived.
Breakfast sounds like a good alternative - thanks for the help
We always do this breakfast. Its always very good food and great fun.

We did the breakfast at Crystal Palace in Sep 2003 & I must admit we thought it was great. The characters are always walking round the tables & spend lots of time at each one. We didn't feel as though we were rushed in anyway. I would highly recommend it!!
What is the best way to go about booking PS for breakfast at the Crystal Palace?

ring from the uk: 001-407-939-3463
this will get you through to the p/s - listen to recorded messages - when it asks for your 10 digit phone number followed by £sign you need to:
drop the (0) from your number and put the next 10 digits in then press # (inreplace of £ sign).
good luck - you will need to phone from 12 mid-day (our time). if you want a particular day & time phone asap. i had ps for 15 aug and just changed it about 3 days ago til 25 aug with no problems. but best to phone soon just to be sure to get the exact date you want.
we have done the buffet a few times and it is brilliant - never had any queues though - hope its still like that!!!

Read on another website Allears.net that when you book PS for 8am at the Crystal Palace you can go in at 7:45 even though the park is closed. Has anyone done this. If so what kind of transport have you used to gain entry in to the park, monorail or ferry? Any information will be most helpful.

Our PS was for 8.00am in February and I'm afraid we had to wait at the turnstiles until 8.00am which was when the park opened. We did ask a CM if we could enter earlier but were told no! We had to wait with everyone else and arrived at the Crystal Palace about 8.05am.

When we ring to book do you think they will give us any extra info regarding this?

I think you got a duff CM. There is an entrance to the very left as you look at the MK which is for breakfast reservations. You have to give them your PS nmber and they let you in
Thanks for the info Tink.:D

We had a character breakfast at The Crystal Palace in early December 04. the onlytime we could get was 10am and had a wait of about 10 minutes but they gave you a bleeper to let you know when it was your turn to go in. The Food was Excellent. We met with Winnie, Tigger and Eeyore who moved around every table and we got time enough to get some very good photographes, Piglet stayed in the middle which made a good picture. Enjoyed it so much we are booking again for this years breakfast but will book an earlier time.
