Has anybody been to Pat O'Brians at City Walk?
We went to the original in Burbon Street New Orleans a long long time ago, this is supposed to be an exact replica of the bar , if it is it will be a fun place to eat & Drink.
In New Orleans you used to be able to take your drink out onto the street unlike elsewhere in the USA, they took your glass at the Exit & poured the contents into a plastic beaker, won't be able to do that in Florida!
Their signature cocktail is a Hurricane, a leathal concoction searved in a glass shaped like a hurricane lamp.
I do not remember the original serving food but the City Walk one has a restaurant, if it is Creole cooking then it will certainly be worth visiting.

It looks pretty much the same inside and out.
The local beers in the original - Abita Golden, Amber, and Turbodog were not available at City Walk - which we were looking forward to - maybe they have them now - Hurricanes tasted identical but didn't seem to be as strong.
So as these replica bars go it is pretty good.

Saying that, they actually did take my drink from me and pour it in a plastic cup if you are moving bars. The only time they didnt was on a Sunday.

I love Pat O Briens although had a bad experience last year, I cant wait to get back there.
