View Full Version : Halloween at DLP
Hi, I have been to DLP in December for the last couple of years and love it as part of our Xmas build up. Am a bit disappointed that they don't appear to change their shows for repeat guests, and although my kids love Mickeys Winter Wonderland and Noel De Mickey, I don't think I can face another dose yet. So I am looking to book for Halloween, has anyone been and recommends it, or is it sooooo busy, any advice greatly needed as I have found some really cheap flights....

Have booked Holiday Inn for 16th - 22nd October. Regular shuttle but alot cheaper than staying on site.
We love Halloween there or atleast the run up to it. Have read on other threads that is is very busy at Halloween itself though.

We have booked it as it is something my kids have always wanted to do....we are going on the 30th October to the Halloween Party, it has cost 19 euros per person, and it starts at 8:30 pm when the park is closed to non party-goers. There is also one on the 31st, but we are due back at school on the 1st so that was out really for us.
I think it is probably very busy on the Halloween weekend, but we don't really find that a problem as there is fastpass, and everything is so manageable distance wise.
Go on, book it, you know you have to take advantage of those cheap flights!!

Hiya, We went to the Halloween Party at WDW back in 2003 while on honeymoon. It was absolutely brilliant. Everyone dressed up and everybody (including adults) were given a bag to collect lots of sweets from various points throughout the Magic Kingdom. We've booked to go to the DLRP Halloween Party on the 31st October 05 and staying at The Disneyland Hotel Castle Floor and we're hoping the Halloween Party at DLRP is going to be as good especially as we're going to have Amy and Abbie with us this time round. And yes, it was busy. If you've got the chance to go and can still get tickets, then you've got to go.
Hi
Been to DLP 3 times twice at christmas which I love but I know what you mean about the repeat shows.
The second time we went was end of Sept 2003 the park had all the halloween decorations up. The first days there was the normal parades and then on 1st October all the halloween parades started. This was good because we got to see different parades. It wasnt busy, I found it quieter than christmas.
Have you checked easyjet for flights, we always book through them and have no problems.
Thanks everyone for your very useful posts, the flights are soooo cheap, but the Disneyland Hotel I usually stay at (mainly cause of its location, and I love being able to nip back in at anytime!!!) is pretty pricey, do you pre-book the Halloween party tickets with Disney direct?
