Just wondering if anyone has visited Puerto Vallarta (sp) in Mexico?

We've had an invitation to join our American penfriends out there for a holiday next February. They are planning a trip down there with two sets of friends and would love us to join them....

We are tempted :D :D

Has anyone been here before? Is there much for kids to do? What is there to do/see in the area?

Our friends will be organising the where and when but have given us details so that we can cost our share. They are particularly looking at the Sheraton Buganvilias (http://www.sheratonvallarta.com/index.html) which I have to say looks lovely.

It would be nice for some feedback on the area itself though.
