Airport transfer from Girona

We will be arriving at Girona Airport on 23rd August for our holiday to Lloret De Mar. I have never been to Costa Brava before so a few things really
What is the airport like, is it easy to get through?
Is there a transfer bus we can get and how much?
How much is a taxi?
How long does it take from airport to Lloret?
Sorry theres quite a few there, any help will be much appreciated as I've never had to arrange my own transfers and I'm panicking a bit.

Having looked on a forum for European holidays a taxi is about 45 - 50 Euros each way. Transfer time looks to be about 25 minutes.

Thanks Claire, we were told when we booked that a taxi would be about 15 to 20 Euros!!!!!
I did manage to find a bus that will take us and it will be 48 euros return and thats for us both!!!
Guess which we will be doing??
