Hi Welcome to the DIBB!
I have taken both mine at every age since they were born (they are now 5 and almost 3). Last year my son was 2 and he is a "difficult" child with behaviour issues and I was dreading it to be honest.
However, apart from one or two minor skirmishes (mainly at meal times which are a nightmare at home as well!!) he had the best time ever!! There is tons and tons for little ones to enjoy and I would go for it. Granted they may not remember it, but you will have memories that will last a lifetime!
They love the parades, the bright colours, the characters - everything, its really magical! I would no hesitation about taking babies or children of any age - as I say ours have done it from 9 months old and even then had a blast!
My daughter who is impeccably behaved had her best trip at 2, and she still remembers a little of it even now. She did her first "Princess breakfast" and went on some "big" rides like Goofys Barnstormer! Absolutely LOVED it!
You will have a great time! All the parks have "Baby Centers" which is a haven of tranquility. You can feed, change and just generally recharge here, and all the supplies you will ever need are available - nappies, wipes, food, chilled water, bowls, spoons etc.
Have fun!!
Allie
PS...You are typing with your CAPS LOCK on and this is regarded as "shouting" on this forum :D Its easier to read if you type in lower case!

There is another thread here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=65224&highlight=Comfort+Inn) about the Comfort Inn LBV. We stayed there for the second time a few weeks ago so PM me if I can answer any questions.
Nothing wrong with taking a 2 year old. We took our son for the first time when he was 13 months.
Next year we will take our as yet unborn when she will be 8 months old.

Hi and welcome!
All children are different, but we took our son then aged 2 and a half, and he loved it! He can still remember bits of it, and cos he is quite tall he could go on some of the big rides like Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain, and he loved them!He didn't go in a stroller once, and walked just as far as we did, from morning to night, his batteries never wore out! We had a villa with a pool which he went in a lot; all the swimming helped wear him out and he slept like a log!
Some people said they were worried their children would be afraid of the disney characters to begin with, but even at 2 ours was fine, took it all in his stride. And the long flight with young kids puts some people off but he sat and looked at books, coloured and drew and slept a lot, so it was fine.
I wouldn't hesitate to take a young child, in fact now mine are 8 and 11 they are more trouble in some ways cos they argue a lot and i am a referee most days!

My DD was 2 1/2 when we first took her :)
Her fave things were the trams from the car parks and the hotel swimming pool - good thing park entry was free for her !
One thing we did find was she wanted to sleep when we were out because of the heat and went we went bacl to the hotel for a rest she'd come back to life because of the air con lol!

I took DD at 18 months ... it is a super age to take them (though I did go with a large family group so parent swap was not a problem)
The reason it is super is because you don't have to take them back to the hotel due to getting tired as they sleep in their buggy (I took an umberella one that laid down) it was easy to fold up and down and she slept really well..
They may not remember but you will .. they get harder work as they get older IMO
Just adding that I went in Nov/Dec ... it may be too hot and humid in the summer months but after thanksgiving with all the christmas stuff up and santa ..was brill..

Thank you for all your replies, we went to the south of france this year and she was fine with the heat so hopefully that wont be a problem but we are nervous about the long flight but hopefully not enough to put us off our next holiday to orlando!

My daughter is now 11 and i took her when she was 2 years old.
She loved it and it was really easy looking after her.
She would fall asleep in the stroller when she felt like it and then wake up bouncing.
It was great to stay onsite as we could go back for naps or swimming time.
Not sure she remembers anything from that visit though!
5 years old was when the magic really hit her and i will never forget her hugging and kissing Minnie Mouse!

We took DD last year, and she had her 2nd birthday in MK - lunch at Chrystal Palace, but she hated the characters they were too big up close.
She enjoyed the parades and smaller rides, but slept through most of the evening shows - including fantasmic amazingly enough.
Already she remembers very little, but it was superb at the time aand it's a good excuse to keep going back.
Do it, take lots of photos, and enjoy ...
