Hi A or B are the best, we had one and as i have walking difficulties it was ideal. just around the corner from parking the car as well. We had the ground floor and we had expected some noise but we had none at all Annie:jump: :jump:

Have you requested a disabled room? If so, then i'm sure you will be put in a ground floor room, probably close to the main amenities.

I've stayed here a few times, and i found it fine, no bugs, maid service every day to clean room, change towels etc, and the staff were great too.

Hi,

My dad is classed as being disabled after a stroke. We requested a low floor disabled room for my parents when we went to the QIP, got 3th floor and half way along the block instead, the staff had no interest in changing the room for them and a sorry were full if you don't take it there nothing we can do attitude (in January ??).

In a way they were glad as the ground floor rooms seemed very exposed to all and sundry and they also said that the lifts didn't make it a problem (so long as they didn't breakdown), luckily my dad can walk but not long distances so he reckons it wouldn't have been such a problem to him. The car parks are huge and have disabled parking bays very near to the blocks so access is easy in that respect and everywhere else in the hotel seemed easy to get around with a stick or chair

If you really need a ground floor room the ones directly facing towards the two restaurants on I-drive seemed the best place to be in IMHO.

Would suggest you request disabled rooms and make doubly sure they check the request again or contact the hotel direct.

I stayed in QII a few years ago and made a request via email a few weeks before we went. You could do this and check that it is being honoured before you go. When we checked in we noticed that our request had been noted and we got exactly what we requested.

Have stayed at Quality Inn plaza twice. Rooms had everything we needed, were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and staff were friendly enough. First time we stayed we had ants in our room, not just one but loads, we phoned reception they sent somebody out straight away but we were not happy to stay in the same room, even though they did treat the room. We were moved straight away no problems. And have stayed there again since that happened but hey you get ants anywhere, it wasn't a big deal. We would recommend this hotal to anybody.
