Okay, so as i last updated you on Sunday, i had booked the Hawthorn Suites Seaworld for my up-coming trip in Sept, via hotelmartusa.com as they had very favorable rates. So i emailed said hotel yesterday to confirm my reservation and to make sure they had received my requests. Hotel then emailed me back saying they had no record of my booking...... WHAT??! So i emailed hotelmartusa.com and they called me back saying that unfortunately this hotel was now sold out for the dates i wanted [serves me right for leaving it so late really!]. They did offer me alternatives, but none that i really wanted, so now i have decided to stick with my old favorite, the Hilton. I have made a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn on American Way, just off of I Drive, via their official website, for $79 per night. The bonus of this being, i can get 30,000 Hilton Honours points per night. :jump:

So hopefully this will be the end of my hotel trauma and i can now sit back and relax! *lol*

By the way, has anyone stayed at this hotel before? If so, any feedback - good or bad? It's meant to be a fairly new hotel, so i'm hoping that it's good!

Glad you got sorted!! :jump: :jump: :jump:

Looked on the members' hotel list and Olive stayed in the one beside SeaWorld - not sure if it's the same one, but she doesn't seem an active member!

I've looked on the reviews on Trip Advisor [not that i take too much notice of them, some of the grips are really petty!], and all the reviews seem good, most people have said they would definately stay there again, which is always a good sign! *lol* I'll let you all know how i fare when i get back! :)

Oh no! That's alot of hassle you definitely don't need :(

All I can say is IMO, if a review on trip advisor is good - the hotel must be like The Ritz! ;) lol, some of the reviews of our hotel (both in the Dominican Republic & Orlando) left me believing we'd be better sleeping on the carpark than brave the hotels - & they both turned out to be fine :D
