Outback steakhouse vs ruth chris

Hi everyone,

Now we have got the chinese option sorted the next question is the best steak house. After reading tons of posts it seems its come down to the outback or ruth chris,

Which one would you choose????

I hate the Outback, its very run of the mill. I think it is all down to choice really, try them both and then you can tell us what you though was best, I would go to Ruth Chris if it was a choice between the two.

can't comment on Ruth Chris as not eaten there but the only bad meal we have had in orlando was in the Outback at formosa gardens DH had pasta that was OK! but the rest of us had steak. the steak was okish but the fries were disgusting very greasy and mushy and you know when you get thet rouge fry with the black bit on it, well mostly they were like that yuk!!!!!

Outback has to my mind always been greatly over rated. Typical 'chain' restaurant.

Go to the Outback, Get a 'Bloomin Onion' Ab Fab (I mean it)....

Check the opening times though, I went one year & they close by 10pm.

wouldn't put Outback and best steak house in the same sentence ..but it is good if comparing to TGI, Bennigans, Black Angus etc

well just looking at the website I would think they are way above Outback... I might give it a try ..that steak looked gorgeous.. no snow crab though :( LOL

Most of the best restaurants in the area are on Sand Lake Road. Many are quite expensive as well.

Personally there would be no comparison between the two. Ruth Chris is far above Outback or Longhorn.

If you want a fantastic steak you really should try Charlie's Steakhouse or Ruth Chris. You won't be disappointed. Your wallet will be a little sore but it is well worth it for a fantastic meal!!
