If I can pluck up the courage I'm going to book a week in Nov to Egypt and I need some info!!
Looking at the 3 Corner Kirosei in Sharm Sheik. DH wants to do things like go to Nile/Pyramids - how close is this to Sharm Sheik?
Yes I know I'm really dumb!!!

your not dumb :) we just got back from Sharm el Sheikh! i dunno if youve read them but ive just started my trip reports ;) im only on day two so far though!! Sharm el Sheikh is beautiful and I would defo advise to go within the next year or two as there seemed to be sooo many hotels starting to be built and I feel it may be too busy and not as good in a few years (which is a shame). We booked through thompson (they were fab - we couldnt have lived without them on this holiday - due to a few probs we had) and they offered several 'day trips' excursions etc, one of which included the cairo trip (to the pyramids etc). This can be done by coach (about 6-8 hours drive - eek!!!) or by plane (which Is what id advise - only 1 hour) - This does cost about £120-140 each though. We did luxor instead of cairo this time, but we are defo gunna go back to sharm (hopefully soon if i can persuade dbf) and do cairo then.

Any other info then just ask :) id be happy to help,

faye x

Do a combined cruise and beach holiday, its good value then you can always tag on a day trip to the pyramids.
