Hi, i'm off 2 Cornwall in 3 weeks with DH, DS (whose 2 1/2) and my DM. We are staying near Bodmin and want to go to the Eden project. Any ideas of anything or anywhere else to visit? Thanks :D

Hi there

We all liked Flambards theme park in Helston - link below.

I think other dibbers have been and I have read mixed reviews. We loved it there. We especially liked 'Britain in the Blitz' which was a street-sceen recreation of war torn Britain. You could go and see an Anderson Shelter, visit a pub and see the damage made by bombs. There are the usual theme park rides also.

We liked it and would definitely go back if we visited Cornwall again.

Happy planning....

Tintagel, Boscastle, Fowey, Polperro, Padstow are all great places to visit. And we try to get back to them every time we visit. I could waffle on for ages about all the best places to go - One of the best beaches is Carbis Bay if you want a beach that is not packed. And if you want the names of some great restaurants I can waffle on for even longer about the food we eat there!!!

Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Morwhellam Quay (possibly not spelt right) - it is great if the weather is good and there is a great place to eat inside it.

Also if you like history Llanhydrock is very interesting.

Another vote for Lanhydrock.

We always enjoy a walkaround Looe and a little time on the beach is it is nice.

Wheal Martin China Clay Museum - doesn't sound too exciting, but the had a great kids play area that both our kids loved.

Dobwalls (http://www.dobwalls.com/) Adventure Park is quite good with lots of outdoor and indoor play areas and little trains that you can ride on that run through the woods.

Our kids also enjoy going to the Donkey Park (http://www.donkeypark.com/) where you can ride donkeys and feed them and lots of other animals. Again they have some nice play equipment and the kids do enjoy it here. Not a full day, but nice for a break and we have often taken a picnic here!
