Yes - in 2000.

It doesn't have any BIG roller-coasters, but it does have a good runaway-train, and lots of small but entertaining rides. I wouldn't call it a Kiddie's park, but it is definately aimed more at the younger audience. Watch out for the Haunted Castle - it's a Shoot-and-Drop, which will catch you out.

Despite the lack of big rides, Phantasialand is one of my favourite parks in Europe.

We went while we were on a caravan holiday in Koblenz on the Rhine. Unfortunately on our way back to the campsite, we blew the water-pump on the Montego which I was driving at the time, and it took us three days to get it repaired.
