Anyone been to Naples?

We have our second week in Naples staying at the old Trianon hotel in old Naples. Have you been there? Whats it like?
Is the water on the beaches clear? Im desperate for a clear blue sea!

We really love Naples, it`s beautiful there. The water is lovely and clear, the Gulf Coast has gorgeous beaches. Have a look at www.naples-florida.com

I love Naples too - just to stroll along that beach fairly early in the morning with just the seabirds for company - wonderful!!

We love it there.
Usually stay at the Vanderbilt Inn right on the beach.

Beach is lovely and so nice to watch the sun go down from there.

Oh you lucky thing!!! We spent a week in Naples in April this year and I absolutely loved every minute. It is gorgeous and the beaches are amazing and go on for miles and miles.

You have to see 5th Avenue which is the main shopping street and also Tin City is great for those little presents to take back. I spent quite a bit of money at the shopping outlets about 30 mins in the car. Can't remember name but could find out for you. Also we visited the zoo which was quite good. You should see the houses on Vanderbilt Island (think that is the name) and you must must must sit and watch the sunset.

We also visit Sannibel and saw Dolphins fishing about 10 metres off shore. Amazing.

The drive down from Orlando is easy and the drive to Miami if you fly out of there is fine but very boring!
