Hi, we are going to DC next Tuesday to swim with the dolphins, a surprise for the kiddies. My little girl who is 7 had her ears pierced about 6 weeks ago just. I have been told that someone who went last year that you are expected to remove all jewellery that contains any sort of stones for the safety of the dolphins. We havn't got a problem with this, however this is the 2nd time my daughter has had her ears done as they turned horrid last time and would prefer not to take them out. However if we must we would without Q.
I too have a diamond wedding band that has never been took off since i got married and even though i have lost 2 1/2 stone i am still 2 stone heavier than i was when i got married, so its tightish.
Any advice appreciated. Not long to go now,:jump:
I was asked to take off rings except my wedding ring and DDs were also told to take off earings and any other jewellery i.e belly bars. We just gave them to DH who wasnt swimming but there are lockers and they are quite secure.
Have fun its a fantastic day!!!
