We recently had a lovely meal in the Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Room at Japan in World Showcase, lovely sushi, reasonable priced, Good cocktails/wine, and a nice change. Recommended! :D

How about the Coral Reef Restaurant in the Living Seas Pavillion.

I have not tried it myself, but I have heard that it's a great place to eat. You get to watch the sealife whilst you dine.

I think it might be a bit pricey though, but for a special occasion it might be worth it.

Teppanyaki @ Japan :D

Excellent grilled steak/seafood cooked at your table. If you're lucky you'll get an entertaining chef too :)

Would put in a vote for the Coral Reef Restaurant in the Living Seas, went there whilst on our Honeymoon in 2000.

Very good indeed, excellent service and some of the best seafood we've had (also do steaks etc...). The tables are set on tiers (like a cinema) so you can all see the huge wall of glass with the fishes, sharks etc... beyond, the room is bathed in an underwater moving/wooshing light as well, very special.

Cannot say the same for the Morrocan Restaurant we went to last year, very bland food, poor service and nothing too special at all. Knorr Morrocan Chicken cooked at home has a lot more taste! We also really fancy trying La Cellier (Sp?) in Canada the menu looked excellent and the restaurant looked very nice as well (we couldn't get a table though for that night )

You should try the restaurant Marakesh in Morrocco. It is realy authentic. Good food and belly dancing what more can you ask for. . . . . . .

Avoid the Nine Dragons Restaurant we were treated like cattle could not get you out quick enough shoddy service really disapointing.

Another vote for coral reef however it would be helpful if you told us more about what like and what ambience you are looking for...

Looking at your countdown, Living Seas will not be an option for you as it's currently closed for refurbishment.

Personally, I have heard great things about Le Cellier (esp. the breadsticks) - we plan on trying it this visit.

How about Rose & Crown, I'm sure you could have a patio table to watch Illuminations if you mentioned it was a birthday treat.

Restaurant Marakesh (prolly spelt that wrong) is great, and very different.

Shame it doesn't cost as cheap as my last meal in the real Marakesh (3 people, 3 course and Cokes : £12 !)

I don't rate many of the Epcot restaurants, Le Cellier and Marakesh are two of the few.

China is the worst.

I liked the Rose & Crown hoping to book it next year in time to watch the illuminations.
