Olivia’s - Dinner
We both have a soft spot for Olivia’s at Old Key West; the atmosphere is so homely and comforting - just like the food!
There is a laid back, kind of beachfront feel to the place, which is usually filled with a mix of family groups, friends and couples. We’ve also noticed that quite a few CMs come here to talk business over a relaxed meal.
It’s never overly noisy, just humming with the buzz of folks excitedly chatting about their day.
If you are in the mood for alfresco dining, there are also a number of tables on the patio, but we like to sit in one of the cosy booths.
Paul had the Penne Pasta with Asiago cheese, baby spinach and sun dried tomatoes. Oh and there was definitely a hint of garlic in there!
I don’t believe the picture of my food does justice to the enormity (or the deliciousness) of my juicy pork chops. They were huge and I really didn’t think I was going to be able to eat them both. But the combination of the succulent meat and the cinnamon, raisin and apple BBQ chutney, had me completely hooked - and before I knew it I’d scoffed the lot  The sweet potato and onion hash was pretty tasty too!
