View Full Version : Discovery Cove child age limit
Do they check the ages of the children doing the dolphin swim. My DD will be (5) when we go, she is tall for her age I am sure she would love the dolphin swim.

Since you have to take photo ID, I'm pretty sure they will check. It will be for insurance so they will take no chances.

They say ID is required for all doing the swim, plus of course there is the insurance question. It's not something I would do.

Our 5year old son was very tall last year and glad I did not take him. Only me and eldest went (9).
It wa a fantastic day and we will never ever forget it. We will go back in a few years when our youngest can really appreciate the whole experience. The dolphin swim is about 30min in very cold water. I think you would need to be older and a reasonable swimmer to enjoy the other activities like sting rays and coral reef.
We had to produce passports and photo id. Think the starting age is 7 and they stick to it with no exception I was told
