We have the 7 day premium pass (which we are upgrading to non expiry) for WDW and the 14 day Universal/IOA city walk etc for our 17night holiday :)
We are upgrading to non expiry just incase we don't use all the days ;)

Difficult to answer without knowing what your plans are. Why are you not getting as many universal tickets for instance?
The disney tickets are fine, you can't hop with them but sounds like that was an active choice for you. The one thing to remember is that you cannot enter more than one park in a day, even if you are willing to use an "extra" day.

Not so much the number of days, I am not sure from the post if your entire party is going to Universal? 2 Days should be ok, I prefer to spend longer but they are my favourite parks.

Have a look at the Universal website they were doing free days when we bought ours, we paid for 2 days and got 5 free. That could be useful if for instance you just fancy going for the evening or an hour or 2 during the day.

Do you not want to add the 'hopper' option for your Disney tix? This means you can hop from park to park (excluding water park) and only use 1 day up on your ticket.

I would reconsider the water parks - they are like nothing you have seen before, Disney do it better!!!:D :D

No seaworld or Busch?
Granted Busch Gardens is a fair distance away but do you really want to miss seaworld???
IF you have the time and the desire to do Seaworld and/or Busch i would recommend the 5 park flex ticket. That covers unlimited entry for 14 days to Both Universal parks and Citywalk, Sea World, Busch and Wet N Wild. Also you can get a FREE coach ride to Busch Gardens from outside Sea World with the Flex Ticket!
The value is VERY GOOD considering that you could in theory visit these parks as many times as you want in the 14 day period from first use!
I don't know how the price of the tickets you've chosen compares to the flex ticket and 'hopper' but I would get as many days and parks as you can for your money, better to have too many and not use them all than be counting your days ! and definetly consider the hopper option , we 'hopped' far more than we intended, it was great to be able to leave a busy park and go somewhere quieter, also to be able to visit a park to repeat just 1 or 2 rides before going somewhere else. And we loved universal, could have spent far more time there than the 3 days we allowed, and DON'T miss seaworld.

We bought the 5 day Flex tickets before we went and didn't buy any Disney as thought we would only do MK so buy them there. 2 families, 4 kids ages 5, 4, 3 and 1. We ended up buying the 3 day hopper there for Disney & personally wouldn't next time, Universal was far better value we went to US 3 times, there is a fab wet and ball area for kids & big kids, the men loved it firing water & balls at people! went to IOA twice and would have gone back to Seaworld and Busch gardens but no time, you could spend a full day at all of them. The only disney one we spent a full day at, and went twice because we missed the parade 1st time as we were having the princess lunch, was MK, I wouldn't bother with the rest of them next time.
If you are going between 1st Jan and 30th April, consider buying the 2 day ticket direct from Universal. They are currently offering 2 days free PLUS for every adult ticket purchased you get a child's ticket free. If there are children in your party, you can save a packet.
My fourth time coming up next April. On previous trips, we went for the 7 day Disney hopper with a Flexticket 4 park pass.
IMHO, the flexticket is a waste of money. We have only ever used it for a day at Seaworld, a day at Busch Gardens and 2 days at Universal Studios.
This time, we are going for the 2 day Universal Ticket (with 2 days free!) and a 14 day Park Hopper from Disney. The latter might seem an extravagance, but we know from past experience that we can spend a day relaxing before going to a park at night (for the fireworks or even a specific ride)without worrying about wasting a day
