I was wondering how easy is it to get a photo with the Characters in the parks? When I was at Disneyland Paris we would not have even got close and my other half would love lots of photos with Eeyore, so I was wondering how easy it was and if we queued up would we get a photo with them or could they just walk away?

When in WDW we have never experienced any difficulty getting photo's with characters.
There has always been a queue, usually with a CM there to make sure everything is ok.
If the characters are due to go, then the CM will tell you and there is usually one to replace within 5-10 mins
Have fun:)

Please don't worry, WDW is nothing like DLP regarding seeing characters.

Even our DS2 had difficulty seeing characters in DLP- other people would push past him in his wheelchair and there were no any orderly lines. The first time we went if it wasn't for the characters seeing DS2's 'wish' badge he would not have seen many.

WDW is another matter. There are orderly lines managed by the characters 'minders' and the last person to see the character before he/she leaves will get a balloon so you will know if you won't get to the front in time. Also there are loads of characters to see.

If you booked a character breakfast/lunch/dinner at Crystal Palace in MK your other half would meet Eeyore would come to your table. Also 1900 Park Fayre at Grand Floridian breakfast has Eeyore.

I have to say we found DLP had improved a little bit on our last tirp, but it is still nothing like Florida as regards characters - it is so easy to see the characters that my dd filled her autograph book the first week and we had to buy a 2nd one!

We found character meals were the best place to meet and have photos with the characters, especially at busy times when the lines in the parks are long. If you pick up a times guide when you enter each park it tells you where and when you can meet the characters there as some are only around for a short while. CMs are usually happy to take a photo for you too.
