Park times & info from reception?

I am staying onsite at Disney next year will I be able to get park maps & info from the reception on my first day to double check show times and opening hours or do I have to visit each park to get these.

You should be able to get all you need from reception.

Also the TV in you room should have a channel with all the park hours and info etc for the day.

What else is available at the hotel reception?

e.g. can you book restaurants?

Yep Guest Services can assist with restaurant reservations, taxis etc. there is usually a board at reception (at least there is at ASMo) with all the parks hours and which park has EMH's that day.

I know what I'll be doing first evening - in hotel room checking itinery - so sad.

also, on your hotel room phone there's a button which is a direct line to disney dining - the one with a picture of a knife and fork on! it's a free line as well, so you can make all your restaurant bookings from the comfort of your room.

You can buy Disney Dollars there these can be good for kids as a souvineer and cash Travellers cheques too.
