Don't worry about it. Will make no difference...it is the full name that matters.

Well, I disagree with this. I think you're likely to have extreme problems getting into the US if something on your tickets doesn't match up with your pasport. I'd ask for them to be changed - at no cost. Why should youy pay their mistake?

One of our tickets got my husband's initials wrong, and i got it changed as we were worried about it not tallying up with the details on the other paperwork. They changed it for free, as it was their mistake. :D
I'd always try to get mistakes sorted cos it's stressful enough going through the airport without added problems!

It's been a long time since I went, but do US immigration really check the tickets in such detail? And will they have a calculator to hand to work out what age the kids should be based on their birthdates??
I agree at the "changed at no cost" - but I personally wouldn't want to send my tickets back and await re-issue so close to the holiday.

I don't ever remember having to show my tickets to US Immigration, and I really don't think you will have any problems on that score. They are quite particular but not about the ages on a ticket. If you had no return tickets they would be concerned, but as long as you have tickets you are fine.
I can't say I've ever had the kids ages on plane tickets, normally just child or infant stamped on them

We had this last year with my DS - the ticket showed his age as 15 and he was only 14. I queried this at the check in desk and they told me it was age next birthday on the ticket.
Not sure if I was being fobbed off but we didnt have any problems regarding this at immigration

We had the same problem last year on a flight to Cuba. We were advised to change the ages as you may have difficultly at check in....why else would they ask for them if they don't want them to match the passport!
If they are able to reissue the tickets then I would say that you should demand it to be done and for FREE! Why should you have to pay for the companies mistake? We certainly did not have to pay for the change...although we did have to kick up a little bit of fuss!! If they won't change them for free then £12 isn't so much to pay for piece of mind is it? You can alwyas complain on your return leg.
We were NEVER asked to show our tickets at US immigration if that helps settle your mind on that score.

I received our tickets on Wednesday and we are going on 7th October. My son who is 10 had been referred to as a male aged 12 or over and called Mr not Master. I rang Dial A Flight (our agents) and they said they would check with Thomas Cook Airlines. Thomas Cook came back and said they wanted to issue him a new ticket free of charge.

I wouldnt worry about your tickets just yet ..It depends who your flying with as to wether you get tickets ..were going with TCD and got ours 11 days before :D
definately think you should get them changed - they should change them free of charge as it is there mistake. dont send your originals back and if they say they cant guarantee by departure date then ask for them to be available at the ticket desk at your departure airport. i work for an airline and wouldnt risk it - especially going to america - they are so fussy at immigration! good luck

Immigration may not ask for your tickets, but under the new regs will have the full details of flight passengers sent to them before tyou leave UK.
{ersonally I would want them to be correct and I would expect the airline/agent to change them free of charge. If it is close to departure they could be for collection at the check in. JMHO
