Hi welcome to the Dibb
The water parks have lockers for rental start at $5 or $7 approx think you get a $1 back on return of the key so you can enjoy your day without any worries, you can also use their towels you drop them into the bins before leaving. Purchase a large mug for $10 and you can refill it free as many times as you like with drinks coke etc. Food stations and drinks available (plus alchohol)
If you are going in Nov Blizzard beach will be closed for refurbishment so Typhoon Lagoon will be busy, best to get there at opening normally 10am to grab a lounger/chair & shade
You will enjoy it whichever park you visit

Hi,
Griswald ,love the name any connection to national lampoons i wonder,as you can see we are also in the griswalds resisdence,
anyway how old are your kids,if they are young they would probably like Typhoon Lagoon more, but that's just my opinion, others would say Blizzard Beach would be fine but the wave machine for my kids was just the biggest amount of fun we had, also they have a new water coaster just opened, anyway you will enjoy where ever you go,by the way we went when one water park was closed and we really didn't notice the crowds to much it 's such a vast park.:jump: :D :jump:

Alison here (DW of Chris)

I would recommend pool shoes to wear in the water parks - floors can be quite hot and very gritty to walk on. Also we all wore t-shirts over our cossies - very easy to get sunburnt at the water parks as the water makes you feel cool and you don't realise you are burning to a crisp!!

Have fun - Typhoon Lagoon is brill

Welcome to the boards Griswald.

In addition to the questions aboe are there any particular days to avoid due to the large crowds, I seem to remember being turned away in 2001 due to the parks being full.
