Fantasmic Dinner Package Again!!!

Hi Guys

Have final done my ADR today and the only one we could not get was the fantasmic dinner package on 9th October. According to the schedule they are doing 2 shows that day at 7.30 and 9, so we I tried to do just an ADR for day 7.30 at Hollywood and Vine would that give me enough time to then queue for the 9 fantasmic?

I believe the dinner package only gives reserved seating for the first show, the idea being to fill the less popular early dining slots. We did Hollywood & Vine for an early dinner at 4.20pm, it worked out perfectly as we caught the parade straight after dinner, then had time for a few rides before Fantasmic.

Thats correct..they bookthe dinner package for the first show..To be honest this works better..make sure you are loaded up with FPs for after the show for ToT and then ride it in the dark for a whole new view of the park....

Oh yes, Tower of Terror in the dark, what an experience! :)
Once the early show is over lots of people will either leave the park or are queuing up for the later show so you have a lovely quiet time to enjoy the park.

So as I can not get a dinner package do you guys still recommend the early show, if so what time should we queue up from? Or should we wait until the later one, which sounds less busy

At quiet times you could queue from an hour before the show but on a busy day (which would be expected if there are 2 performances) you would need to queue from about 2 hours before.
With a dinner reservation for 7.30pm you would be really lucky to get into the later show.

I would still try at the restaurant podium on the day, you may be lucky, they will still take walk-ups if they have the room.

If it is busy enough for 2 shows I would allow plenty of time, at least 90 mins before if not more. I would guess the later show will be the less busy one.

Personally I would get some food and drinks to take in and spend your waiting time eating it. There is always some 'entertainment', Mexican waves and singalongs going on to help pass the time too.

You can be a regular tourist to do it!!! The Fantasmic dinner package just gives you priority seating at the show so you dont have to queue so long! We've never done the package, as it's nice to go and sit in the amphitheatre and join in the all the chatter and mexican waves!

Anyone in the park can go to Fantasmic. Booking the Dinner package means you get to sit in the reserved area. As long as you have park admision you can book the package for more info look at the link posted above
