Help with DC and SW tickets

We have purchased a DC ticket incl a 7 Day seaworld. Can someone please confirm when the 7 day seaworld starts from? We are going to DC 10.10.

I'm pretty sure you can use the SW ticket before your DC day - it is for 7 consecutive days from 1st day of use.

Just to check is that from the 1st day at Seaworld? We had planned to go Monday 17th. Just wanted to check that the clock does not start ticking when you go to DC

I'm 99% sure its from the first day at Seaworld!You will love DC. Make sure you do a full day there - opening til they throw you out!

I thought you could only use the 7 day seaworld pass after DC day as you don't get your ID until you get to DC and get your photo taken. As your ID pass for DC is also your pass to get into SW.

When we went (2003) we could go before our day at DC. I apologise if I am wrong! Maybe e-mail DC to check?

I've just got this from the DC website -

Passes valid for either SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for up to seven consecutive days before or after your Discovery Cove visit.

I suppose you would have to collect your pass from DC first then?? Sorry to confuse you, we had waited until after our DC visit to go to SW and obviously didn't need to wait that long. Nevermind - will know for next time eh!

We did SW exactly 7 days before Disc Cove, we took our email confirmation from Disc Cove to Guest Services at SW and they issued us a day pass each for SW, then they let us in via their entrance to the park so we avoided all the queuing at the main entrance. They said to us if we wanted to go back on another day (within the 7 days) then we would have to go back to Guest Services each time but we ended up going just the once.

If you do Disc Cove first then just keep your Disc Cove passes that you get issued on the day and show them at SW (they have your photos on).

You can use your seaworld part of it before you go to DC but once you go to DC then the Seaworld part of it starts

When we used ours we got the tickets to run before our DC trip. The Seaworld entrance is for up to seven days previous to DC trip or seven days after. If going before as we did you have to take your DC tickets and documents with you to Seaworld. There is a customer services office just by the gates. You show everything to them and they issue you with a 7 day ticket.
